RMD Kwikform to rebrand following its sale to Altrad
14-07-2022
Global formwork, falsework and ground shoring provider RMD Kwikform will change its name to better align with its parent company, French industrial group Altrad.
Interserve Group sold West Midlands-headquartered RMD Kwikform, which was its global equipment services arm specialising in formwork and falsework, to the Altrad Group in October 2021. The value of the sale was reportedly £140M.
The transition to a new name – Altrad RMD Kwikform (ARMDK) – will happen over the coming months. The new identity and a new colour palette will be rolled out across all of the company’s materials and communications.
Altrad is involved in the process and engineering sectors, as well as oil and gas and power generation. The largest part of its business – around 39% – is focused on the construction and building market.
ARMDK UK managing director Mark Pickard said: “When working with ARMDK, customers will still purchase the same proven products, from the same experienced team here in the UK, with the same range of aftermarket support, but now a host of additional benefits will enhance our solutions’ offer further.
“For example, our joint focus on health and safety and the habits that both organisations have instilled in our teams remain a priority, alongside quality assurance programmes and investment in research and development - helping us to meet the needs of the UK construction and infrastructure sectors.”
Altrad group communications head Antoine Martinez added: “We were delighted to welcome RMD Kwikform to the Altrad family last October. The business has a well established and proven reputation for engineering complex solutions, backed by a strong product portfolio and local expertise in regions across the globe. We are proud to see the brand now officially added to our portfolio.”
Founded in 1985, France-headquartered Altrad has revenues of around €3bn (£2.5bn).-Tradearabia News Service
