Dubai-based Rigidal Industries and Centria International of the US continue to forge ahead with major project specifications in the UAE and other Gulf countries for their range of state-of-the-art Versacor-coated roof panels and Formawall architectural wall products.






Hunter Douglas, which is celebrating 35 years of success in the Middle East, continues to introduce innovative products that are produced to the highest standards of quality and fashion with the launch of the innovative Luxalon Qudroclad Panel.






A $3 million aluminum composite panel manufacturing line is being set up by a joint venture of the UAE-based Mulk Group and American Building Technologies of the US. The plant, which will produce the US firm’s Alubond panels, is expected to launch production in July.






Germany-based Keil has become the first company to be awarded the European Technical Approval for an anchor – used to fix facade panels from the rear – by the DIBt (German Institute for Construction Technology).






The cladding market is good and could probably remain so for the next decade, according to Majid Mirza, general manager of Dubai-based Al Wahaj Metal Industries.
