Dubai-based Precision Engineering and Trading (Pet), which deals in vacuum pumps, looks forward with greater optimism as the construction industry finds newer applications for vacuum pumps. The company, which has a state-of-the-art repair and test facility at Jebel Ali, offers a variety of new and refurbished vacuum pump brands.

With the introduction of four new models – SV 33, SV 46, SV 66 and SV 92 – Lowara has significantly expanded the application range of the SV series of pumps, which now features capacities of up to 120 cu m/h and heads of up to 300 m. “We now have pumps from small to large: the range has been made wider,” says a spokesman for the company.

THE Denmark-based Grundfos, a global leader in pumps, is strongly focusing on the wastewater market and plans to release several new products aimed at this segment.
