As Dubai’s building boom continues at a breathtaking pace, German concrete specialist Putzmeister – through its local partners in the region – is trying to live up to the challenges through the delivery of products and solutions that best suit these multi-million-dollar projects.






Two stationary concrete pumps and placing booms from Putzmeister are currently working on the Mediterranean coast of Egypt, helping build the £E3 billion ($519 million) San Stefano Grand Plaza in Alexandria. Putzmeister’s equipment has already placed over 200,000 cu m of concrete in the process.






Bobcat, a business of Ingersoll-Rand, has launched the new 80 Series hydraulic breakers for carriers ranging from 700 kg to 5 tonne, which in addition to offering high performance and highly reduced maintenance, are easy to use, says a company spokesman.
