Enviroseal Corp, a US-based specialty chemical products company offering cost-effective geo-technical products – as a smart alternative to conventional construction methods – has set up its base in Dubai, giving contractors, quarry managers and builders numerous options to construct roads and temporary access ways to sites.

At the Germany-based Wacker Group, scientists from the Karlsruhe Research Center and Karlsruhe University have presented the results of a pioneering pilot project on the bulk impregnation of highway bridges with specialty silanes, which can substantially reduce costly maintenance and repairs.

Turkish contractor Tisan Insaat has recently taken delivery of two new Dynapac CC 322 tandem asphalt rollers and two reconditioned Demag DF 130 C pavers for a repavement contract on the Istanbul-Edirne Motorway, awarded by Turkish Highways Maintenance (TCK).
