Spanish sanitary ware manufacturer Roca, which is celebrating its 50-year-old business relationship with the Middle East market, says that it intends to maintain its leadership in the sanitary ware market, in terms of quantity as well as in quality and design.

Saudi Ceramic Company (SCC) has recently signed a major business contract with LB Officine Meccaniche for a new porcelain tile factory that the company is building in Riyadh as part of major expansion plans that it launched early last year.  The company is now set to launch production of Gres Porcellanato tiles by mid-2006.

In a move to meet the growing demand for its products, the UAE-based RAK Ceramics has embarked on an expansion of its manufacturing facilities, where its new continuous ball mills will feature Skega rubber mill linings from Metso Minerals to help enhance operational efficiency.
