All land reclamation works have been completed on The Pearl-Qatar, the multi-billion dollar offshore island and one of the largest real estate developments in Qatar, and the project is moving ahead with tower and infrastructure developments, company officials said.
A new BD300 million ($795 million) town is to be built in Bahrain’s Hidd area, as a private development. It will take five years to complete the first phase of the project, to be built by Al Enma’a House for Real Estate.
Qatar Cool, a pioneer in district cooling technology in Qatar, and United Development Company (UDC) have signed a new deal worth QR800 million ($220 million). As per this deal, UDC will provide 120,000 tons of refrigeration (TR) through district cooling for The Pearl-Qatar.

Dadabhai Construction has announced plans to launch a new BD20 million ($53 million) waterfront housing and development project in Tubli, Bahrain. The project, spread over 140,000 sq ft, will be marketed by Pegasus Realty. Habib Modara Consultants will be the lead consultant for the project.
