THE UAE has witnessed a steady increase in the number of buildings constructed using precast systems, says a leading UAE-based manufacturer of precast elements.
PREMCO (Precast Manufacturing Company) has won a SR100 million ($26.7 million) contract to supply 62,000 cu m of precast concrete for the Princess Noura University project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. A subsidiary of Construction Products Holding Company (CPC), Premco is expected to implement the deal in 24 months.
GULFWALLING, a Dubai-based manufacturer of precast walling and partition systems, says its gypsum-based systems represent the new generation in precast walling. Called GulfWall, this versatile technology can achieve cost and labour efficiency as well as speed in quality construction projects, it says.
WHEN used as a construction system, precast concrete offers several advantages that range from improved quality to safer, long-lasting structures, says the Riyadh-based Al Rashid-Abetong (ARA), which has been serving the Saudi market for more than three decades.
PERFECTION, quality and modernity are the hallmarks of the recently-established Eastern Precast Concrete (EPC), a part of the Eastern Trading and Contracting Establishment (ETE Group) in Saudi Arabia.
