NEW Zealand-based Pultron Composites is opening a facility in Dubai to cater to the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region and Europe.“Construction work on the facility has been completed,” says Dr Salwan Al Assafi, general manager, Pultron Composites Middle East.

DUBAI Pearl’s developer Pearl Dubai announced the milestone completion of the fourth and final raft foundation pour, achieved within the timeline of four months.The raft foundation on Tower 4 of the project consisted of 11,500 cu m of concrete, 2,500 tonnes of steel reinforcements and took a record 30 hours in one continuous pour to complete.






Abu Dhabi to build giant stadiumABU DHABI has invited bids to build the largest sports stadium in the UAE. International construction companies have until December 12 to submit preliminary bids to build the stadium that will have approximately 65,000 seats and feature a retractable roof, according to a copy of the tender notice.
