THE Limestone House project located within the Dubai International Financial City (DIFC) is nearing its final stages of completion including the commissioning and de snagging. Standing 14 storeys tall, the property epitomises luxury and elegance behind its limestone façade.
NORMAN Disney and Young’s (NDY) association with the Ritz-Carlton/Limestone House project dates back to 2004 when it was approached by the international architectural practice Gensler to work with it on a high-profile hotel project for Union Properties in Dubai.
ALUMA Systems, a global leader in concrete formwork, says its innovative aluminium system has helped the construction team working on The Ritz-Carlton/Limestone House project achieve faster floor cycles on the fast-track development. The company supplied its Aluma Table-Form shoring system for the construction of the project.
THE imposing glass and aluminium façade of the Ritz-Carlton/Limestone House hotel and apartments is the workmanship of Folcra Beach, which was awarded the contract in April 2007 for the project.
