HARD Rock International has signed an agreement with Aabar Properties, a subsidiary of Aabar Investments, for the development and management of Hard Rock Hotel Abu Dhabi, a five-star international hotel located in the UAE’s capital city of Abu Dhabi.

GERMAN fastener manufacturer Ejot has appointed Dirk Homrighausen as the new managing director for its Sharjah-based subsidiary Ejot Middle East. Homrighausen brings with him a wealth of experience in the construction industry, having previously spent 18 years with EJOT UK, including eight years as its managing director.
SAMSUNG Engineering has won a $2.47-billion project to construct a petrochemical plant in the UAE. Under the terms of the agreement with Takreer, an oil refining unit of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc), the Korean firm will build a carbon black and delayed coker plant.
