AS it marks its silver jubilee in the UAE’s construction industry, leading contracting firm Al Shafar General Contracting (ASGC) has clinched yet another prestigious project, the Union Museum in Dubai under a Dh488-million ($132.86 million) deal from the emirate’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).

Preliminary work is now under way on Dubai’s first-of-its-kind smartly designed, stylish, green neighbourhood with the contractors having commenced grading works and first phase deep services at Town Square, which is being developed by Nshama, a private developer of integrated lifestyle communities.
