Ajman Korea Furniture supplied and installed vanity, kitchen and pantry units at the Mazaya Centre.The company started work on its Dh2.15 million ($586,000) contract in March last year, says CT Thomas, commercial manager of the Ajman-based firm.Ajman Korea Furniture is one of the biggest joinery and furniture companies in the UAE.






Al Khaleej Ceramics supplied 40,000 sq m of ceramic tiles worth Dh1.5 million ($400,000) to the Mazaya Centre. The tiles were custom-designed for the project.






Sharjah-based Aluminium and Light Industries (Alico) undertook cladding work worth Dh12.3 million ($3.35 million) on the Mazaya Centre project. The company started work in March last year and completed it in November the same year.






A wide range of top-quality products from Caparol has been used on the prestigious Mazaya Centre project. These include Amphibolin 2000, which is an emulsion paint, Amphisil, a new generation paint which allows the painted surface to "breathe", and other high-quality stone finish and emulsion paints.






Main contractor Energoprojekt is completing work on the Mazaya Centre, on a fast-track basis under a contract worth Dh119 million ($32.4 million).Energoprojekt started work on the project in March 1998, says Aleksandar Slijepcevic, company managing director.






Al-Futtaim Engineering's (AFE) Elevator Division is maintaining its high profile along Dubai's Shaikh Zayed Road, with the installation of elevators and escalators at the Mazaya Centre.






Dubai-based GLS (Gargash Lighting Solutions) is one of the major suppliers of lighting products to this project under an order valued at Dh1.5 million ($400,000).GLS is one of the few companies operating in the UAE that have thoroughbred lighting professionals who can handle any lighting projects with ease.






Dar Al Zakhrafa manufactured, supplied and installed cast gypsum, gypsum plasterboard and 60x60 GRG (glass-reinforced gypsum) tiles at the Mazaya Centre. The job was worth Dh3.5 million ($954,000).Established in Abu Dhabi in 1973, Dar Al Zakhrafa also opened an office in Dubai in 1978.






Dubai-based International House General Trading was involved with the installation of six tensile fibreglass structures at the Mazaya Centre project at a cost of about Dh3 million ($817,000).






Inma, a pioneer of the tower crane sector in the UAE, has supplied tower cranes and concrete equipment to the Mazaya Centre project.The firm became the first company to stock and sell tower cranes - both self-erecting and top slewing cranes - in the UAE in 1973, says a company spokesman.






Finishing touches are being put to the retail section of a sprawling commercial-cum-residential complex being built on Shaikh Zayed Road, one of Dubai's fastest growing commercial districts.






Dubai-based National Concrete Products Company (NCP) supplied concrete blocks and paving tiles for the Mazaya Centre project.






Sensaire Services, an ISO 9001-certified building services contracting company and one of the largest of its kind in the UAE, has recently completed work on the Mazaya Centre project.






Sharjah-based Sirji Building Contracting laid ceramic tiles at the Mazaya Centre."We started work on this prestigious project, worth Dh1.6 million ($436,000), in May last year and finished the job in October.

Dubai-based Sultan Marble was involved with some of the marble and granite works at the Mazaya Centre."We did some of the counters, cladding and floor fixings in the main corridor, columns, some shops and entrances," says Sultan Hareb, managing director.






Turner Steiner International SA, the project manager for the Mazaya Centre project was set up to serve the real estate, design and construction needs of the clients in the world's rapidly changing marketplace, says a spokesman for the company.






Unimix has supplied over 20,000 cu m of concrete to the Mazaya Centre project.Established in 1977, Unimix has played an active role in developing Dubai's infrastructure.






Waterman, which was involved with the design and execution of the revolving fountain, acrylic panels for voids and huge signages for the Mazaya Centre, says it is proud to have been associated with the project and the project manager Turner Steiner International.
