Expo 2020 Dubai has been awarded the British Safety Council’s Sword of Honour, in recognition of the organisation’s dedication to ensuring the health, safety and well-being of its workforce. Expo 2020 was one of 66 organisations from across the globe to achieve the prestigious accolade in 2020.

Emirates Building Systems (EBS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dubai Investments and a leading manufacturer of steel structures, is nearing the completion of four Expo 2020 pavilions worth in excess of Dh23 million ($6.2 million).

The Expo 2020 Pavilions Premiere opened last month, allowing visitors to be among the first to experience Terra – The Sustainability Pavilion.

Expo 2020 Dubai’s City Readiness Committee has resumed regular meetings to ensure Dubai and the UAE are prepared to welcome the world to the global mega-event opening in October.
