Bahrain has unveiled its new strategic projects plan which will see over 20 new projects coming up across the kingdom at an investment of more than $30 billion.

Oman Power and Water Procurement Company (OPWPC) is preparing to award two Manah solar power plant projects – Manah Solar Power 1 and Manah Solar Power 2, the development of which is expected to involve an investment of RO300 million ($776 million).

Leading European metal producer Aleastur has launched the region’s first plant for aluminium grain refiners and master alloys production at its new Middle East base in Bahrain. The new $15-million site will supply specialty alloys to global markets, including Asia, North America and the GCC.

Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) will spend nearly $8.2 billion on 14 strategic projects aimed at developing the country’s main airport, said a report.
