Alyusuf Decor carried out the false ceiling works, woodworks as well as supply and installation of glass and mirrors for the Bahrain Mall. "We installed false ceilings in all the shopping walkways, the food-court as well as in the Geant Department Stores itself, which has open-cell ceilings around its perimeter," says Mohamed H.

A striking Arab fortress-like structure, the Bahrain Mall, now stands on what was until March 2000 a barren stretch of land in Bahrain's rapidly-growing Seef District. Its doors open onto one of the most modern, sophisticated interiors and an atrium area traversed by the first travelators to be installed in the country.

What is believed to be the largest tensile fabric structure of its kind in the region has been erected at the Bahrain Mall. A white tent-like structure, measuring 27 m by 36 m at its base, crowns the large atrium area of the shopping centre.
