Liebherr, one of the largest construction equipment manufacturers in the world, has expanded its series of flat-top cranes with the introduction of its new 300 EC-B 12 Fibre and 270 EC-B 12 models. Both machines are described as being ideal for sites requiring heavy hoists and meet all the key requirements placed on a modern crane fleet.

Global energy and petrochemical company Shell has launched Shell Bitumen CarbonSink, a new bio-component binder that locks carbon within roads instead of releasing it back into the atmosphere. The binder is claimed to lock carbon into asphalt and bitumen, turning roads into technical ‘carbon sinks’.
