Dubai WoodShow (DWS), the leading platform for wood and woodworking machinery industry in the Mena region, is set to unveil a completely new event format in its 19th edition when it opens at the Dubai World Trade Centre this month (March 7 to 9).
The total exports of US hardwood lumber and veneer to the Middle East and North Africa region surged by 11 per cent in 2022 to hit $107 million, said a report by American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC) released ahead of the Dubai WoodShow.
Middle East Energy, the region’s leading energy event, is set to open this month (March 7 to 9) in Dubai with more than 800 exhibitors showcasing their products in five dedicated sectors: backup generators and critical power, transmission and distribution, energy conservation and management, smart solutions and renewables and clean energy.
The Big 5 Saudi, the largest construction event in the kingdom, presented an opportunity to reshape the modern construction industry and involve new technology towards implementation of 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR), according to Engineer Osama bin Abdulaziz Al Zamil, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources.
