Mercedes-Benz Trucks showcased more than 40 vehicles with a range of application solutions at its own exhibition stand in Hall B4 (Stand 141) – as well as at those of various body manufacturers – at bauma, the world’s leading trade fair for the construction industry held last month in Munich, Germany.

Ford Trucks, the heavy commercial vehicle arm of Ford Otosan, and Iveco, a brand of Italy-headquartered Iveco Group, have announced that they have signed a binding agreement to jointly develop a new cabin for heavy-duty trucks. The deal formalises a non-binding memorandum of understanding announced in March last year.

Sweden’s Volvo Trucks and German concrete pumps manufacturer Putzmeister unveiled one of the world’s largest battery-electric concrete boom pump trucks at bauma, a leading construction and mining machinery and equipment exhibition, held last month in Munich, Germany.
