Qatar’s Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced the launch of an ambitious five-year plan worth more than QR81 billion ($22.2 billion) to implement vital projects across various infrastructure sectors, ranging from roads, government building projects, sewage networks to strategic outfalls.






Bahrain Marina Development Company (BMDC) has announced significant progress on its prime development – Bahrain Marina project, the first phase of which is  a 50 per cent complete. The project is set for delivery in the last quarter of 2026. BMDC said work on the project site is proceeding at a steady and accelerated pace.






Binaa Al Bahrain, a newly formed real estate developer backed by Eagle Hills Diyar and strategic partners, has announced that it has commenced operations. The developer also announced the upcoming launch of its flagship residential project, Bayview, which is set to open in Bahrain Bay.






Besix, a Belgium-headquartered construction group, has won a significant marine infrastructure project at Sohar Port and Freezone in Oman. The scope includes the construction of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) jetty, comprehensive shore protection, and an advanced drainage network.






Magnom Properties, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Rawabi Holding, has signed a partnership with leading Italian brand, Rimadesio, to bring its sustainable linear and functional designs to the upcoming $1-billion Platinum LEED-certified, lifecycle net-negative carbon commercial Forbes International Tower in Cairo, Egypt.






Egis, a global leader in architecture, consulting, construction engineering and mobility services, has announced its collaboration with the Ministry of Transport of Qatar on the development of a transformative Qatar Public Transport Master Plan (QPTMP).






Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) has signed contracts worth approximately QR3.1 billion ($851 million) to enhance the country’s electricity infrastructure, according to the state news agency QNA.






The Kuwait Authority for Partnership Projects (KAPP), in collaboration with the Ministry of Electricity and Water and Renewable Energy (MEWRE), has invited bids from leading developer/developer consortia for a major renewable power plant within the Al Dibdibah Power and Al Shagaya Renewable Energy Phase III – Zone 2 Solar PV IPP project.
