Al Gurg Tower

Established in 1975 as a joint venture between Easa Saleh Al Gurg and Fosroc International, Al Gurg Fosroc was the first construction chemicals company to establish a manufacturing base in the region.

The Al Gurg Tower, a new18-storey landmark in Dubai, is set for a final handover to the client this September. Finishing works are currently under way on the uppermost levels of the tower which comprises a retail podium, 13 floors of leasable office space and four executives office levels as well as a four-level basement.






Taywood Engineering Limited undertook a range of tests to ensure the weathertightness of the curtainwalling at the Al Gurg Tower. A test rig was installed to subject the samples to constant air flows and water pressures using a wind generator and water spray system during dynamic testing.
