Juma Al Majid Establishment for Electro-Mechanical Works (lifts division) was responsible for the supply and installation of 15 elevators at Dubai Internet City - Phase 3. The company installed two passenger and one service lift from Sigma Elevators in each of the five buildings.

Ajman-based Emirates Marble supplied 800 sq m of marble tiles for the Dubai Internet City Phase 1 - B project. Established in 1998, the company has a 8,500 sq m factory which has been well laid out as per international standards, says Rabin Fakih, a spokesman for the company.






Dubai-based Emirates Trading Agency's (ETA) mechanical and electrical division was the MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) subcontractor for Phase 3 of the Dubai Internet City (DIC) project. The third phase, part of Dubai Internet City campus, comprises five ground-plus-four-storey buildings namely Compaq, IBM, HP, DIC 1 and DIC 2.

The UAE-based RAK Ceramics, which supplied its premium gres porcellanato and ceramic tiles for the DIC Phase 1-B project, is set to commission its eighth tile plant at Ras Al Khaimah next month (November). The facility incorporates some of the world's best ceramic technologies enabling high-volume production processes.
