The Binladin Group has won a SR25 million ($6.66 million) contract to design and build a new reserve dam on a wastewater lake near Jeddah. More than 800 tankers a day dump waste into the Briman Lake.

Bids are being reviewed for contracts for the construction of the Prince Sultan Private University in Taif. The foundation stone for the project, which will cover a 250,000 sq-m area, is expected to be laid on January 28.
