Arabtec Construction, a unit of Dubai-based Arabtec Holding, has won an EGP1.844 billion ($111.38 million) contract from Emaar Misr for Development for the construction of two urban projects at Uptown Cairo, Egypt, a report said.

 

Emaar Misr for Development is an Egyptian unit of the Dubai-based real estate firm Emaar Properties.

 

The two projects will feature 449 residential units in Mokattam area. Construction will start immediately, the real estate developer said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX), according to a Mubasher report.
