IN CONJUNCTION with its local partner Abdulla Fouad Holding Company, GE Sensing and Inspection Technologies opened a $1-million non-destructive testing (NDT) application centre in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. 

Serving the kingdom and its neighbouring countries, the centre will provide customers with non-destructive testing  expertise and training from a highly qualified staff. It will also allow customers to explore new technologies and learn about innovative application developments, such as corrosion monitoring.

The new 460-sq-m facility, which will also operate as a service centre, is dedicated to non-destructive testing technology, which is applied throughout the region in the oil and gas, aerospace and power generation sectors.
