Villeroy & Boch has launched the second-generation of its Whisper whirlpool system, which together with ‘Invisible Jets’, is set to add a new dimension to bathrooms and wellness.

VILLEROY & Boch has completely revised the design and function of its whirlpools and is now set to present the second generation of the successful Whisper system.
With Ultimate Fitness, Villeroy & Boch can now offer the first completely invisible whirlpool system with base and side ‘invisible jets’, according to a spokesman for the German bathroom and wellness specialist.
The system combines the benefits of Whisper, the first extremely quiet whirlpool system introduced by the company in 1999 and the innovative Invisible Jets, the patented flush-fitted side jets it launched in 2007.
“The benefits of the products in both systems have, therefore, been increased, without a corresponding increase in price. The new whirlpools from Villeroy & Boch, offering individual relaxation and regeneration possibilities, enhance the sense of well-being and are, therefore, conducive to a healthy and a balanced life,” he says. “The side jets are now 70 per cent more powerful with the result that the massage effect and the Whisper system as a whole are a lot more effective – and all this with further improved energy efficiency. Moreover, the system sets new standards with a noise level that is no louder than the rustling of leaves. The new flush-fitted side jets, which lend the Whisper system a special aesthetic look, are a further highlight.”

He continues: “The Whisper system will appeal to those who value peace and quiet and wish to pamper their body. The finely bubbling whirlpool gently stimulates circulation and soothes the body.
“The revision of the Whisper systems focused, above all, on improving the design of the jets through the use of the material Quaryl as well as on enhancing the efficiency of the system with regard to its functionality and energy consumption.”
The new side jets are flush-fitted and in a chrome look. They are manually adjustable with the result that the massage effect can now be controlled and intensified; by closing the side and base jets, for example, the entire power of the jets can be directed onto the frequently strained back and neck areas. The appearance of the base and back jets has also been revised. They now sport a light grey colour and therefore have an unobtrusive appearance compared to the white bath.
“Extensive changes were introduced to the jet design and the piping was further optimised to enhance the massage effect of the side jets by 70 per cent. Here, the efficiency of the system was increased parallel to a lowering of the pump capacity – further proof of the efficient utilisation of resources,” the spokesman says. “A powerful system does not need a large pump. The water simply has to be channelled along the best and shortest route. Thanks to the optimisation measures, the system operates extremely quietly and bathing in a whirlpool is now a more invigorating experience.”
In addition, the intermittent massage, which further stimulates blood circulation, is now included in the Whisper system as standard.

Ultimate Fitness is a powerful massage system that provides the ideal prevention and regeneration massage after sport, he continues.
The white Quaryl bath with Ultimate Fitness comes with 12 white, flush-fitted base jets. The bath can optionally be equipped with 24 invisible Ultimate Fitness base jets (Air Royale). The jets are also available in a chrome or gold finish. The side jets are arranged on two levels and therefore guarantee an even and well-distributed full-body massage. All jets can be adjusted manually to the required position. The back and base jets are finished in light grey.

“The new Whisper system is one of the quietest systems on the market. Thanks to its smooth-running capability, the whirlpool system can now also be used in areas for which it may not have been ideally suitable, for example, apartment buildings. The system meets all of the requirements under the German noise protection standards DIN 4109,” the spokesman says.
All whirlpools from Villeroy & Boch are manufactured in Europe. Each system undergoes a quality test after the production phase. In addition, each whirlpool and the entire production process is Kema-certified, he points out.
