Alabniah aiming to double sales

SAUDI ARABIA’S Alabniah Precast Concrete Building Factory is looking at doubling its sales this year while maintaining customer satisfaction by focusing on high-quality products and timely delivery, says the company’s executive vice-president Ahmad El-Lakkis.
The manufacturer has also just launched a new line of prestressed double tees and beams, El-Lakkis says, adding that Alabniah is now looking at expanding its reach by delivering products to strategic locations across the kingdom and the rest of the Gulf.
Alabniah supplies all kinds of precast concrete products as well as intelligent precast solutions and concepts to the construction industry in Saudi Arabia and the rest of the GCC, thereby contributing to superior construction speed and quality within the industry, according to El-Lakkis.
The company’s office and factory facilities, located in Dammam’s Second Industrial City, operate from an area of 112,100 sq m with around 23,000 sq m of covered production area with fully automated production lines – proof of its readiness to serve mega precast construction needs, he says.

The factory’s manufacturing facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art, fully automated production machinery with computerised plotter, shuttering-robots, fully automatic mesh welding machines, extruders, computerised concrete distributor and curing chambers.
Alabniah holds the distinction of being the first precast manufacturer in Saudi Arabia – and one of the first in the GCC – to produce double walls using the “latest technologies” available in the world, says El-Lakkis.
Alabniah’s technical department is equipped with state-of-the-art design (CAD), modelling (Tekla) and structural design (Staadpro) software, in addition to ERP (enterprise resource planning), CRM (customer relationship management) and production planning and delivery software, El-Lakkis says.
“The technology has been tailor-made for our fully-automated production facility and all information is transferred directly from the technical department to the computerised robots and plotters in the factory,” he explains.
The factory’s services cover provision of complete precast solutions, including design, production, delivery and erection.
