Qtel to develop ICT for Al Wa’ab City

QATAR Telecom (Qtel) has signed a major agreement with Al Wa’ab City management that will create a first-of-its-kind communication infrastructure, deploying the most advanced solutions in telecommunications for its major real estate developments.
Under the agreement, Qtel will provide the network foundations for Al Wa’ab City and develop comprehensive ICT (information and communications technology) solutions for each phase of the mixed-use community.
More than 2,000 residential units, 100,000 sq m of retail and 200,000 sq m of commercial accommodation as well as a world-class hotel are being developed in phases in Al Wa’ab City located in capital Doha.
