Raghadan shows off its latest

01 April 2012

RAGHADAN Paint Company, one of the largest Arab paint suppliers in the GCC, will showcase a wide range of its latest products at Saudi Building and Interiors Exhibition (sbie) this month.

These include a range of interior products such as Raghadan Polo, a chromatic effect decorative finish that yields a sandy pearlised effect, because of its special pearlescent pigments; Raghadan Velvet, a decorative finish for a smooth, soft, velvet effect that feels like suede to the touch; and Raghadan Atoshinto, which is inspired by precious stones, and yields a pearly finish to give walls a long-lasting aesthetic touch.

For exterior and interior applications there is Raghadan Granito, a texture coating based on special acrylic polymer, for a granite effect interspersed with sparkling crystals. Raghadan Graviato Décor, another product for exteriors, is a multi-colour texture coating based on acrylic and special quartz, intended for application by trowel or spray.

The company will also promote Raghadan Aqua Gold and Silver water-based gold and silver paints for decorative interior and exterior applications and Raghadan Silverguard, a multi-purpose water-based anti-microbial topcoat, suitable for environments that require a high level of hygiene such as hospitals and nurseries. It is very effective against the growth of bacteria, fungus and algae.

In the protective finishes segment, there is Raghadan Silicon Tex, a premium-quality decorative and protective acrylic-silicon finish that is water repellent, has maximum water vapour permeability, and works well in severe climates.

Raghadan Paints produces a wide range of paints, such as emulsion and enamel paints, primers and textures, industrial paints, sealants and isolations, NC and epoxy paints, wood coatings and velvet effects, and silicon and anti-microbial coatings.

Established in Riyadh in 1974, the quality-focused Saudi company has been successfully operating in the paints business for around 35 years within the kingdom and the Arab world and is today among the top five paints companies in the GCC. Its business is supported by numerous quality accreditations.

Raghadan has been certified by Saudi Arabian Standards Organisations (Saso). “With this distinguished quality standard accreditation, our company promotes consumer protection and the well-being of the public through strict compliance with the existing standards,” adds the spokesman.

In 2008, Raghadan applied for ISO 9001-2008 certification and was subsequently approved and qualified to the previous ISO 9001-2000 quality management standards from TUV-Nord, a reputable German accreditation company. Last year, it successfully upgraded to the latest quality management standards.

The company also has acquired the Green Seal (GS-11) standard, which establishes limits for volatile organic compounds (VOC). Last year, its products were tested and certified as low VOC emitting paint materials by a certified independent laboratory and material testing company, says the spokesman.

Raghadan Paints can be visited at Stand 666-670 at sbie.
