LEISTER, a leader in the development, production and sale of tools for welding and processing plastic, is launching the new Triac ST, successor model to the popular hand-held tool Triac S.
“Triac S is, by far, the most common tool used for welding plastic in the world. Its renowned sturdiness and durability have been the cornerstone of this success, even in adverse outdoor working conditions,” says Fabian Beermann, division manager at BMC Gulf, Leister’s sales and service partner in the UAE.
Triac ST is distinguished by the same, crucial features as its predecessor – handiness, reliability, versatility, he adds.
Beermann says that during the development of the Triac ST, a deliberate choice was made to do without extra technical features.
Visually, the new Triac ST continues the form and style of the existing Triac AT. “This is, above all, apparent in the two-component handle on both tools that gives the user an optimum grip. With the modern design, the Triac ST, therefore, defines a new standard in its product class,” he adds.
Elaborating on the new tool, Beermann says: “The optimised design and its low weight, of less than 1 kg, ensure perfect weight balance. This means the user can work without becoming unduly tired, as proven by extensive field tests. Inside, the improved design of motor and turbine design combined with the use of the heating element that was already utilised successfully in the Triac AT cannot fail to impress. All in all, this results in even greater value.”
Two new air filters are integrated on the sides in the rear of the tool, which means they can easily be removed, cleaned and reinstalled, thus saving the user valuable time. The heating power can also be set infinitely up to 700 deg C, hence there is no shortage of reserves for every conceivable use.
“As a successor to the Triac S, the Triac ST will become the actual standard tool from Leister,” Beermann says.
The same range of more than 80 nozzles already compatible with the Triac S and Triac AT naturally fits onto the Triac ST, making various applications possible – both indoors and outdoors.
“The new ‘flagship’ can, therefore, be used on the roof, in civil engineering, in apparatus construction, for flooring as well as for advertising banners, vehicle repairs or shrinking,” he says.
“At Leister, we are sure that the success story of the Triac S will be repeated with the new Triac ST,” says Roland von Ah, sales manager Asia and Middle East at Leister, Switzerland.
“Experts from all over the world have something to look forward to: a tool that not only excels with proven effective features, but also offers an outstanding price-performance ratio,” von Ah concludes.
Leister is a long-established Swiss company whose core business comprises hand-held tools, welding machines and hand extruders for trade as well as hot air systems for industrial applications.
