Gemini breaks ground in GCC debut

01 June 2016

Gemini Property Developers, an India-based company, said it has started work on its luxury apartment project in Dubai, the first of a series of the group’s high-end residential projects in the GCC region.

Gemini Splendor will feature a total of 134 units of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, penthouses and townhouses equipped with hi-tech amenities. Located in the Hartland community in Dubai’s Mohammed Bin Rashid (MBR) City, the iconic project is expected to be completed in early 2018.

Following its ground-breaking last month, the construction work has been initiated at the site by the developers, said the company.

The apartment units at Gemini Splendor range from 780 sq ft to a spacious 3,400 sq ft. In addition, the building will also host comprehensive retail, shopping and entertainment facilities, along with green spaces.

Gemini Property Developers is the real estate arm of Gemini Energy Group, one of the well-known business groups in the Middle East and India. The company has awarded the enabling works contract to National Piling and will be announcing the main construction contract soon.

The project has been designed by Aedas, one of the world’s leading global architecture and design practices, renowned for its Dubai Metro stations work.

The detailed design for the project has been executed by Dubai Consultants.
