Reynaers to showcase prowess at key event

01 June 2016

Reynaers Middle East is gearing up to tap the region’s growing aluminium systems market through a dedicated event that targets its area of specialisation.

At the Windows, Doors and Facades Event 2016 to be held in September (18 to 20) in Dubai, UAE, the regional office of Reynaers Aluminium will unveil the leading European aluminium systems provider’s latest creation – MasterLine 8 – in addition to its other acclaimed systems.

“When we heard about the Windows, Doors and Facades Event 2016, we were happy that there is a specific show that can help us showcase our products to people related to our business only,” said Ali Khalaf, managing director of Bahrain-based Reynaers Middle East.

Khalaf says the event will ensure the company reaches its target market amongst developers, consultants, engineering houses, architects, contractors and aluminium fabricators interested in the latest aluminium systems for their projects.

Aluminium systems sometimes lose their prominence in the construction industry given the multitude of products and materials required to finish a project; however these systems have created a niche for themselves in the windows, doors and facades market – especially facades, which is a much larger and turnover-driven component of the aluminium systems market, said Khalaf.

“Aluminium is proving to be the preferred material of choice for a very large number of projects both commercial and residential,” he added.

In keeping with its tradition of bringing new and innovative product for its customers to the show, Reynaers Middle East this year will unveil the MasterLine 8, the latest product offering from Reynaers Aluminium.

“Stronger, simpler, better and slimmer are all keywords to define this latest series of windows launched by Reynaers.  MasterLine is the successor of Reynaers’ globally renowned and successful Concept System,” said Khalaf. “MasterLine 8, which stands for maximum comfort and security for the end-user, offers enormous architectural freedom with numerous design variants and scores high in terms of energy efficiency. In the development of the new system, special attention was paid to the manufacturing and installation of the windows. The innovative character of MasterLine 8 lies in an optimised production process, an efficient assembly of the components and a simplified installation of the finished elements.”

Khalaf says the systems give clients a wide design range to perfectly fit any architectural style, while offering the ultimate performance in thermal insulation and air- and water-tightness, with a limited building in depth of 87 mm.

This new generation of innovative window systems features different levels of insulation, offering solutions for highly insulated, low energy and even passive houses.

The MasterLine 8 concept offers three design variants, each with its own distinct look and feel. It has opening options for vents of different sizes, such as single and double balcony doors with minimal thresholds for both inward and outward opening.

The system can be easily integrated with other Reynaers systems, such as CP 130 and CP 155 sliding systems, the new glass balustrade, the Mosquito system, and the CW 50 curtain-wall system.

In addition to Masterline 8, Reynaers will also showcase the SL-38-Ferro among its window systems. The highly insulated Slim Line 38 has a ‘steel look’ and is ideal for modern architecture. The system is available in three unique design variants (Classic, Cubic and Ferro) and is suited for new buildings, where the unique slim lines allow for an abundance of light. It is also recommended for retrofitting in existing structures, for example an older conservatory to preserve the vintage appearance, or for renovation projects where steel frames have to be replaced. The profiles give a strong industrial and minimalistic architectural appeal to buildings.

Reynaers will also exhibit its most popular systems including the CW 50. On display will be the CW 50-ML variant to demonstrate the sophisticated multi-level drainage performance of the system. “The unique shaped curtain-wall, which will be 6.8-m wide and 4.8-m high should interest visitors for its grandeur and irregular form,” Khalaf said.

Among doors, the luxurious Hi-Finity, Concept Folding CF-77, CP-130 sliding system, CS 77 fire-proof systems with push bar and panic button, and SL-38-Cubic slim line series, will form an integral part of the stand allowing visitors to experience Reynaers systems as fully fabricated and installed on site.

Since launching operations in the Middle East in 2004, Reynaers Middle East has witnessed steady growth and has supplied to projects within the GCC and other Arab countries including Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon. Its latest projects include the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel at Bahrain Bay as well as notable projects in Bahrain include the recently completed Lagoona Beach, Al Nooh Tower, Lari Grand Tower, Wadi Al Sail School, Tilal Residence and Dilmunia Sea Villas.

The UAE is currently among Reynaers’ most active markets with several new projects undertaken in the past few years, particularly health and education developments such as the SKMC Dialysis Clinic, Gayathi Hospital, Al Falah Ambulatory Centre, Al Sila Hospital and the Swiss International Scientific School. The Ferrari Theme Park, Presidential Palace, Cleveland Clinic, Ritz Carlton Hotel, the Etihad terminal, Bayside Residence and Executive Heights are just a few of the many iconic projects executed in the UAE alone.

Some of the latest projects completed in Qatar include Palestinian and Sudanese School, Qatar Heritage House, Ministry of Interior head office, and the communicable disease unit, while in Saudi Arabia its systems have been used for the Damac Twin Towers, Farsi Tower, Centro Hotel, Olaya Tower and Al-Andalus Square as well as several new university projects in Saudi Arabia including New Medical Skills, Computer Science College and Marine Studies building (King Abdul Aziz University).

In line with its strategy to get closer to its customers and ensure operational excellence in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region, Reynaers Middle East has opened two additional branches in the UAE and Egypt and a warehouse and factory set-up in Saudi Arabia.
