Terex Washing Systems (TWS) is launching a number of new product lines that serve a diverse range of materials handling sectors at the Hillhead exhibition, a premier quarrying, construction and recycling showcase being held this month (June 28 to 30) in Buxton, UK.
Among the new product line-up is the eagerly awaited AggreScalp, a modular scalping unit. “This modular chassis-mounted scalping unit brings operators a well-proven, cost-effective and durable machine in a modular all-electric format,” says a spokesman for the UK-based company.
AggreScalp is described as being ideal for construction and demolition (C&D) recycling applications as well as quarry and mine overburdens and integrates seamlessly with other key TWS systems including AggreSand and AggreScrub.
Another much-anticipated launch is the new track-mounted AggreStac conveyor range, the first in a new and growing range of Terex conveyor solutions. These have been conceived and designed to integrate the long heritage of compact mobile conveyors within Terex, together with a complete review of market demands and new technologies.
TWS will also unveil a new ultra-fines recovery system at Hillhead. “Increased fines recovery is a growing demand within numerous facets of the washing industry. By capturing as much fine/suspended solid material in advance of water management stations, operators can significantly reduce required overall equipment investment, reduce final waste volumes and, by the same measure, increase potentially sellable output,” he says.
The system is receiving significant interest from recycling and remediation operators including dredgers but is also very attractive to quarry and mining operations keen to reduce tailings and the associated costs, he adds.
TWS team members will be on hand throughout the event to introduce these latest innovations and to offer their unique combination of experience and expertise to customers seeking maximum efficiency, performance and serviceability from their materials washing equipment.
Terex Washing Systems is a new product line within Terex Corporation that is focused on providing solutions to the minerals washing industry.
