UAE-based construction firm Arabian Construction Company (ACC) has been awarded a contract to build Boulevard Point, a prestigious 63-storey residential tower in Dubai.
The new tower, the third project for the company in Dubai Downtown, will be situated next to Fountain Views, for which ACC won the contract in 2014.
The Boulevard Point project involves building a 63-storey residential tower with 297 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments overlooking Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard. Amenities include swimming pools, a dedicated children’s area, a fully equipped gymnasium and a barbecue deck.
Maher Merehbi, CEO of ACC, says: “The Boulevard Point contract is a testament to our skills in building prestigious, high-rise developments in the city. We are grateful that the developers have elected to put their trust in us to build such large-scale developments.”
ACC has constructed some of the most impressive high-rise buildings across the GCC and Middle East and Africa (Mena) regions, including a number of the tallest towers in the UAE. Some prestigious names include the Almas Tower, Princess Tower, Sky Tower, Gate Towers, Etihad Towers, Sky Views, World Trade Centre Abu Dhabi and Rose Rotana, in addition to Fountain Views.
Meanwhile, the company has been signed up by the Saudi subsidiary of leading property developer Emaar Properties to build three residential towers at its 413,000-sq-m masterplanned community Jeddah Gate in Saudi Arabia.
Emaar Residences is the third residential project the developer has launched at Jeddah Gate in the Red Sea coastal city, which also contains retail and leisure space around a central development known as Emaar Square, reported The National.
ACC is already working on Jeddah Gate, where it is building Emaar Square commercial district under a Dh174-million ($47.3 million) contract which is expected to be handed over later this year.
The Emaar Residences towers will contain a total of 283 apartments, including a number of penthouses. The one- to four-bedroom units range in size from 70 to 300 sq m, and each tower will have dedicated drop-off zones, lobbies, a 24-hour reception and concierge service. There are also pool areas, fitness centres, a ladies’ spa, children’s day-care area and a multipurpose hall, said the report.
Piling work at the site is already under way.
