Fourzone to fit-out Palm resort
R Hotels, the hospitality management division of the Ajman-based R Holding, has named Fourzone Middle East as its interior fit-out contractor for its new four-star resort and spa at The Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, UAE.
The 253-key property, which will be the first holistic health and wellness resort in the region, is expected to open doors in April 2017.
The fit-out deal was signed by Samir Arora, the property’s pre-opening general manager, and Ajish Nambiar, Fourzone Middle East’s marketing director.
Fourzone Middle East is tasked to provide the complete interior fit-out solutions for the project – from production and sourcing of furniture and soft furnishings, and carrying out finishing works.
In line with its concept, the general look and feel of the hotel will be organic, using design elements like wood and utilising earth colours in the interior and furnishings. It will offer room and suite options, plus Executive and Presidential Suites on the sixth and seventh floor, and an Executive Lounge on the seventh floor.
With its focus on wellbeing, the property will feature a restaurant with a healthy menu; gym and tennis court; an area dedicated for fitness classes; swimming pool and private beach facilities; and separate spas for men and women with hammam, sauna, steam bath and treatment rooms.
“R Hotels’ new property in Palm Jumeirah is the group’s sixth, and biggest project to date,” says Arora. “The fit-out is crucial as it will set the overall character of the property, to convey the holistic wellness concept. We are confident that Fourzone Middle East can deliver the job efficiently.”
