Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Housing last month signed an agreement with the Chinese government for the construction of 100,000 housing units in the Al Ahsa province of the kingdom.
The deal was signed by Minister of Housing Majed Al Huqail and Chinese Deputy Minister of Trade Qian Keming during the visit of Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defence to China, reported the Saudi Gazette.
Al Huqail also signed a memorandum of understanding with officials of the Ningxia region in China to help develop the outskirts of Al Asfar province.
These agreements are in line with the Housing Ministry’s aim in stimulating the real estate development and raising productivity, the report added.
