Case Construction Equipment showcased a full line of equipment for Qatar’s expanding construction market at an Open Day event last month (November).
Case and its official distributor in Qatar, Nasser Bin Khaled and Sons Heavy Equipment (NBK) invited key decision makers and operators in the country’s construction industry to see first-hand the high quality range of Case equipment and how these can further enhance the productivity and increase the profitability of construction businesses.
Models from the Case heavy line and compact line on display at the customer event included Case 821F wheel loaders for the aggregate sector; the SR150 and SR130 skid-steer loaders; 570T and 580T backhoe loaders; and the TX170-45 telehandler. Also showcased were two 20-tonne and 37-tonne excavators that compete in the country’s biggest segment, crawler excavators – a segment that accounts for 60 per cent of earthmoving equipment sales in Qatar.
Commenting on the event, Raffi Keuylian, general manager of Nasser Bin Khaled and Sons – Heavy Equipment Division, said: “The Case Open Day helped us create awareness about our premium line of construction equipment and educate our potential clientele about our after-sales services, training, parts support and financing solutions. We were able to meet key decision makers and influencers and show them what we can do for their businesses. This was the first time our heavy equipment division has hosted an event of this size, and it will be a trendsetter for our division.”
A live show featuring skid-steer, backhoe and crawler excavators entertained the visitors while demonstrating the efficiency of the machines and the ease of access for servicing. Case representatives from Europe and the UAE were present at the event, where they were joined by professional demonstrators from the UK and Germany.
Franco Invernizzi, senior business director CNH Industrial Construction Equipment for Africa and Middle East, said: “In NBK we have found an outstanding partner, which has shown it is capable of giving Case customers the best sales and service support, which they expect from our brand. Qatar is undertaking an ambitious programme and, to achieve its goals, it will need the high quality, reliable equipment supported with highest level of service that we are able to provide in partnership with NBK.
“This is a market of strategic importance for Case, and we are investing, together with NBK, in strengthening even further the Case teams on the ground.”
