Turkey to host LED lighting expo
Preparations are in full swing for the 11th edition of LED & LED Lighting Exhibition to be held in Istanbul, Turkey, later this year (October 1 to 4).
The event, which is being organised by Marmara Fair Organisation, will highlight LED (light-emitting diode) products and LED semi-products and components that can be used for all kinds of outdoor lighting purposes, and in the architectural sector.
The event, which will be held at Istanbul Expo Centre, will feature a conference focusing on topics such as regulations for LED streetlighting, OLED (organic light-emitting diode) lighting, LED usage in production (in automotive, electronics, small house appliances), automation in streetlighting, and lighting designers’ panel. The event attracts industry stakeholders such as industrialists, academicians, applicators and end users.
PaintExpo gets early bookings
More than 300 exhibitors have already registered to participate at PaintExpo to be held in Karlsruhe in Southern Germany next year (April 19 to 22).
The sixth leading international trade fair for industrial coating technology is expected to present solutions that aim to achieve improvements in quality, productivity and sustainability in painting and coating processes while cutting unit costs at the same time.
The range of exhibits at PaintExpo includes range from equipment for wet-painting and powder coating, application systems and spray guns to water treatment, recycling and disposal, and accessories.
150 exhibitors for water expo
More than 150 local and international technology, equipment and service providers are set to gather at the Istanbul Water Expo (IWE) in Turkey later this year (September 3 to 5).
Organised by EUF, the Turkish subsidiary of London-based exhibition organiser ITE Group, IWE will be held at Istanbul Expo Centre and will bring together industry professionals and the decision-makers of government and private institutions to discuss water and waste water treatment technologies, and explore major investment opportunities.
The event comes at a time when Turkey is expected to invest $38.5 billion until 2023 on new and rehabilitation environmental projects, according to the EU Integrated Environmental Approximation Strategy for Turkey (2007-23).
It will be supported by Republic of Turkey Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs, General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration, Ilbank, Union of Municipalities of Turkey and Izmir Chamber of Commerce.
