Bahrain-based Almeer Trading Establishment is expanding its showroom space in response to the increasing demand for its sanitary ware and building products.
The pioneering dealer in sanitary ware, ceramic tiles and other building materials, which was set up in the country 65 years ago, is set to open an expansion to its showroom in Muharraq next month (February).
The company also has an expansive showroom in Ma’ameer that covers 1,800 sq m, which was the largest facility of its kind when it was set up, according to a spokesman for the company.
“Through two ultra-modern showrooms and extensively stocked warehouses, we cater to the requirements of customers in all sectors of the construction industry,” said the spokesman.
“The will to win, the desire to succeed and the urge to reach our full potential - these are the key parameters of Almeer Trading Establishment,” he added.
The origins of Almeer Trading go back to 1952 as an initial business partnership of the late Jalal Almeer and Abdulrahman Almeer to import sanitary ware, tiles and other building materials.
The company – now a prime division of the Almeer Group – has grown to become the largest dealer in building materials in Bahrain.
Almeer Trading’s portfolio of products includes renowned sanitary brands such as Sanindusa of Portugal and Huida of China, which it has been representing for more than 15 years, as well as Azzurra of Italy and Orka of Turkey; sanitary fittings Nobili and Filli Fratini of Italy; and pipe fittings from GF JRG Sanipex of Switzerland (which it has been working with for more than 30 years).
The company also offers ceramic and porcelain tiles from Piemme & Marca Corona of Italy; Inalco, La Platera, Mayolica, and Ceramica Gomez of Spain; and Hongyu of China.
