UAE developer Shaikhani Group has handed over 100 residential units at its Dh150-million ($41 million) Champions Tower I to their owners.
Designed by Al Sarh, the 15-storey property is located in Dubai Sports City and has 49 studios, 50 one-, 30 two- and six three-bedroom units, 135 car-parking slots, a swimming pool, spa and gymnasiums, under-ground parking, 24-hour security and three high-speed elevators.
Last year, the group had handed over 224 units, thus raising the number of deliveries to 359 apartments in a year.
The developer currently has five projects under construction, including three in Dubai Sports City and one in Jumeirah Village Circle. It is yet to award any contracts this year.
“As a customer-centric responsible property developer, we continue to try to exceed our customers’ expectations. That’s why delivery of projects is very important to us. We are targeting the handover of three projects by the end of 2018,” says Mahmood Shaikhani, the managing director.
“As a long-term player in the UAE’s real estate market, the group has a strong development pipeline with more than 2,100 apartments and office space worth Dh3.5 billion ($952 million),” he says.
The Shaikhani Group has three other freehold mixed-use developments planned for Jumeirah Village South.
Work is progressing well at 11 of its projects that will deliver 2,100 residential and commercial units in Dubai Sports City, Jumeirah Village Circle and Dubai Silicon Oasis.
“Our aim is to attract end-users and small families to shift from rented homes to their own freehold homes without putting much strain on their finances,” he adds.
