Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions (HCE), the organiser of the annual showcase for the construction, interior and property sectors in the Northern Gulf, honoured the award winners of the best stands at its trio of exhibitions at a gala event in Bahrain last month.
The trade fairs – Gulf Construction Expo, Interiors Expo and Gulf Property Show – have continued their success of being the only integrated B2B and B2C platforms in the region. They were held under one roof last April at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre (BIECC) in Manama under the patronage of HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
The Best Stand Award recognises the efforts and strategies of exhibitors to promote their participation at these concurrent exhibitions through their stand designs, said an HCE spokesman.
Bahrain-based Al Nooh Wood Design was winner of the best stand at the Gulf Construction Expo (formerly gulfBID) for the third consecutive year.
HCE’s managing director Jubran Abdulrahman said: “Al Nooh Wood Design is one of Bahrain’s leading designers and manufacturers of custom wood exteriors and interiors. Its unique design has scooped the Best Stand Award for the third successive year.”
Al Nooh beat off strong competition from RP Kingdom Projects, which came second followed by Paramount Doors in the third spot on the Facebook polls.
“Al Nooh’s intricate stand designs have been built by the craftsmen of the company, which is an example for all the visitors at the expo of the unparalleled skills of their workforce,” added Abdulrahman.
The best stand award at Gulf Property Show 2017 went to Bin Faqeeh Group, a leading real estate investment firm, after it topped the Facebook polls. The company beat off strong competition from Fontana, which clinched the second place, followed by Eagle Hills (Marassi Al Bahrain) in the third spot.
“Bin Faqeeh is one of Bahrain’s leading private real estate groups. They continue to lead the way with innovatively designed projects delivered to the highest quality at affordable prices. Their presence at Gulf Property Show exudes this positive and confident approach,” stated Abdulrahman.
And Fatima Alansari Design and Execution, a leading design house from Bahrain, was voted as the Best Stand (Design) at the Interiors 2017 (formerly gulf Interiors). It beat off strong competition from Mobilia Uno, which came second, and National Paints which secured the third spot in the Facebook polls.
“Fatima Alansari Design and Execution is a design house from Bahrain which presents an eclectic marriage of traditional and modern styles that is part of the Gulf’s creative psyche. This fledgling company is expanding its operations across the GCC,” remarked Abdulrahman.
“This positive recognition of their participation at the Interiors Expo will only add to their growing reputation as creative interior designers,” he added.
Meanwhile HCE has given expo a make-over. Now called Interiors, HCE aims to take the growing interiors industry in Bahrain and the GCC to a new level.
On the revamped show, Abdulrahman said: “We have repositioned the former Gulf Interiors exhibition, which is simply called Interiors. This decision has been taken after feedback from our exhibitors, which reinforced our own experience in the market promoting the burgeoning Bahrain and the GCC’s home grown interior talent.”
Exhibitions director Ahmed Suleiman said: “Interiors is quite simply the showcase for all things related to décor, furnishings and design. The Interiors Expo will continue to lead as an innovative platform to showcase luxury, creative and modern products for the home or commercial spaces.”
Next year’s events will be held from April 24 to 26, 2018 at the BIECC.
