Putting up a good ‘Case’ for the Mideast market

Case says its 570T and 570ST backhoe loaders combine technology and value to meet the requirements of the region.

Case Construction Equipment is offering a full line-up of backhoe loaders to meet the needs of the challenging Middle East and North Africa (Mena) market.

At the entry level, the Case 570T and 570ST 4x4 tractor backhoe loaders provide a highly versatile and cost-effective solution; while the 580T in the mid-range offers enhanced operator comfort and a slightly higher productivity. The 695ST 4x4 machine, however, tops the range offering maximum productivity and versatility.

Case, a brand owned by CNH Industrial Construction Equipment, has well learned how to balance technology and value in a tough market like the GCC.

Speaking to Gulf Construction, Franco Invernizzi, senior business director for Africa and the Middle East, says providing the right value proposition does not mean the lowest cost; but offering a solution that will ensure the customer can achieve the necessary levels of production throughout the expected life of the asset.

He says the 570T and 570ST are great examples of the company’s approach. “These have been specifically designed and engineered to match the requirements of customers in the region who look for a reliable and performing machine, and a fast return on their investment.”

Both the 570T and 570ST are powered by a turbocharged, four-cylinder FPT Industrial S8000 Series engine that delivers a superior performance, high torque and best-in-class fuel economy. What differentiates both models is the engine power: the 570ST giving 97 hp, while 570T gives 86 hp.

The S-shaped boom on both machines has been designed for premium digging and lifting performance, while its heavy-duty structure ensures strength and durability. The machines reach deeper than any other backhoe loader in this segment: up to 5.58 m, with the Extendahoe dipper version.

Invernizzi says customers looking for maximum flexibility can count on the lifting hook welded to the bucket linkage when they need the rear arm to lift and handle suspended objects, a unique feature by Case.

The front axle of the 570T and 570ST is designed to handle heavy-duty applications even in extreme conditions. This highly productive package comes with superior comfort: the largest cab in the industry is ergonomically designed to provide a comfortable workstation with excellent all-round visibility. The easy serviceability maximises uptime and productivity, while contributing to the low costs of operation.

Both models share the DNA of the long lineage of Case backhoe loaders, built on the company’s long history of industry firsts which include the world’s first factory-built tractor loader backhoe introduced in 1957. More than 600,000 units later, Case backhoe loaders are synonymous with performance, high lifting capacity, best digging depth, and great breakout forces, says Invernizzi.

“High quality, strong structures ensure long life of the machine. But without a strong distribution network, even the best products can fail; and so the Case network strives to be best in class in supporting all of the after-sales needs of customers across the region,” he concludes.
