Show to highlight innovation

The upcoming Future Cities Show in Dubai, UAE will have sustainability, innovation and happiness as its core themes, hence focusing on several transformational concepts as catalysts for smart urban development.

The Future Cities Show conference and exhibition will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from April 9 to 11.

The event emphasises on three key themes – environmental, economic and social matters – and features over 50 highly specialised speakers in IoT and big data, Blockchain technology, carbon capturing, green tech, smart technology and futuristic mobility and safety solutions, as well as smart building development and happy societies.

The Future Cities Show hosts 25 different city presentations, workshops and sessions. A total of 12 keynotes will be given by global smart city decision makers and thought leaders in sustainability and innovation.

The exhibition features more than 60 companies and institutions from around the world.

 

160 exhibitors for hardware expo   

More than 160 exhibitors are expected to take part in the upcoming Hardware + Tools Middle East, the Middle East’s only dedicated trade fair for tools, hardware, materials, and machinery this month in Dubai, UAE.

The 19th edition of the event takes place from April 2 to 4 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. It will feature country pavilions from China, Thailand and Taiwan, and will host exhibitors from 12 countries representing over 200 brands.

Leading brands will also deliver live demonstrations at the three-day event’s Expert Zone, a dedicated area showcasing the latest innovative solutions and machine tools shaping the future of all types of industries.

 

Experts to discuss safety design

Leading fire safety consultants, architects and engineers will discuss the building designs and standards and practices in the built environment and the improved protection of people at a key industry event in Riyadh.

The Safety Design in Buildings, Riyadh Conference will be held on April 16 at Holiday Inn Izdihar in the Saudi capital, said the event organiser. A leading debating platform for safety and fire professionals in the construction industry, SDiB is being held in collaboration with Intersec.
