Hyatt on Palm ‘ready by year-end’

UAE-based wasl Asset Management Group said work is in full swing at its major hotel development, Hyatt Centric The Palm Dubai, with 69 per cent of the construction already completed and on track for launch by the year-end.

The real estate development and management company is surging ahead with the twin 15-storey hotel being developed in collaboration with an affiliate of Hyatt Hotels Corporation.

Ongoing construction at Hyatt Centric includes interior work on the guestrooms, corridors and public areas; external cladding work; and preliminary inspection approval.

Once complete, the hotel will add 217 guest rooms, 116 serviced apartments and three F&B (food and beverage) outlets, as well as a state-of-the-art gym and spa, to Dubai’s hospitality and real estate sectors in preparation for Expo 2020.

 

 

Azizi Shaista project on track

Azizi Developments has announced that work is in full swing at Azizi Shaista, its upcoming residential project in Dubai’ s Al Furjan area and is going as per schedule.

The structure of the building is complete, with installation and finishing works currently in progress, said the UAE-based developer.

Azizi Shaista will have 12 residential floors and will offer a total of 284 units, comprising 137 studios, 124 one- and 23 two-bedroom apartments, in addition to a retail space of 7,100 sq ft.

Azizi Shaista residential apartments will also feature parking facilities, a swimming pool and a cutting-edge gymnasium.

 

 

Ducab starts work on new HQ

UAE-based Ducab, a global leader in the manufacture of copper and aluminium wire and cable products, has broken ground on its new global headquarters building at Jebel Ali Free Zone in Dubai.

The new headquarters will be environmentally responsive, built to achieve a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (Leed) Gold certification when completed in 2019, said the company. The three-storey headquarters building will have a total built-up area of 4,053 sq m, with a roof deck garden.

Having recently added overhead conductors to its portfolio, Ducab works with customers around the world, and is expanding globally from its home market in the UAE.
