CDE, a leading provider of washing equipment on the global market, will present its latest innovations to materials producers at the Mining Show this month (October 8 and 9) in Dubai, UAE, for which it is a Silver Sponsor.

At its stand, CDE will exhibit its latest patented Infinity screen and introduce its ground-breaking Connected Plant digital application to visitors. A team of experts will also deliver talks focusing on the significant added value advanced washing technology can bring to mine and quarry operators.

Adam Holland, head of mining at CDE, commented: “Being a Silver Sponsor at the Mining Show gives CDE the opportunity to showcase its revolutionary wet processing solutions to the region’s materials producers. CDE has an excellent track record in delivering highly efficient solutions to the mining sector, including unrivalled tailings management and mineral waste beneficiation systems, backed up by full-circle customer support.”

He said the global mining industry is showing very encouraging signs of recovery and there is no better time for the UAE – and the Middle and North Africa (Mena) – mining operators to adopt the most advanced wet processing technology in order to both diversify and maximise their materials production and mineral ore dump recovery with much reduced energy and water consumption.

“Our modular equipment is designed to the specific needs of each customer and creates significant opportunities to increase production quality and quantity for a very interesting return on investment. I am confident that our superior and innovative technology, which covers a range of applications and can tackle the most difficult materials, will wow visitors to the CDE stand,” he added.

Exhibited at the CDE stand, the CDE H2-60 Infinity screen will be a head-turner as its impressive features take centre stage.

Ruchin Garg, regional manager for Mena at CDE, said the company sells over 200 screens every year.

“The latest addition to the company’s screening range, the H2-60 is a double-deck horizontal sizing screen that efficiently separates up to three fractions without any risk of product cross-contamination,” he said.

Elaborating on the screen he said: “The H2-60 screen features a weld-free design to prolong the operational life of the screen as well as increased thickness of the screen wide walls. The screen can generate the same acceleration as conventional ones, whilst the unique design of the eccentric shaft further removes unnecessary weight, reduces power consumption and ensures the efficient transfer of energy to the material.

“The CDE-patented U-Span cast cross members, in combination with the construction of the side walls, deliver higher specific stiffness that prolongs the working life of the screen. The Infinity range utilises Rosta suspension units which deliver 98 per cent vibration isolation ensuring protection for the supporting structure and the most efficient transfer of energy to the screening material.

“With an aggressive 8-mm peak liner stroke to eliminate pegging and featuring patented Infinity technology, the H2-60 is fast becoming a staple in the materials producing sector,” Garg said.

Another CDE innovation, the Connected Plant, will be introduced at the show by Tom Houston, director of CustomCare at CDE.  “The CDE connected plant technology is set to become a game changer in the industry. This smart technology will bring pre-emptive maintenance as well as support, operational efficiencies and simplicity to our customers, giving them unrivalled control of what is going on with their plant or plants through a one-touch console management hub,” he explained.

Headquartered in Northern Ireland and with bases in India, Brazil, Australia, Dubai the US, CDE boasts 25 years of experience and over 1,000 successful installations and satisfied customers across the world.

CDE can be visited at Stand B10 at Mining Show in Dubai.
