Ariston Thermo, a global leader in thermic comfort and energy efficiency in the domestic, commercial and industrial segments, aims to meet the requirements of its Saudi clientele by offering them innovative products from its production facilities in Bahrain and a branch in Riyadh.

The Italian company last year opened a new plant in Bahrain for manufacturing Ariston-branded storage electric water heaters to be marketed mainly in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region. Bahrain marks its first industrial operation in the region.

“The new plant has an annual production capacity of up to 250,000 electric water heaters. The new facility is also in line with the sustainable model of the group,” says a company spokesman.

“In recent years,” he says, “the market has become more challenging and competitive and that is one of the reasons we are getting closer, and we decided to open a new facility in the region. This helps us to manufacture specific products that are compliant to Middle East requirements and respond faster to the customers’ requests.”

Ariston Thermo exhibited at the Gulf Construction Expo in Bahrain last month in a bid to establish and expand its business and network of contractors.

Ariston Thermo’s product portfolio includes water heating, heating, solar systems, heat pumps and gas boilers. Apart from showcasing its ‘Made in Bahrain’ water heaters at the expo, Ariston for the first time also promoted its new Kairos Thermo solar system for sanitary water heating. “We see a trend towards energy-efficient water heaters and that’s why we are promoting this here,” said Edoardo Pauletta d’Anna, country manager, UAE, Gulf and Levant, Ariston Thermo Middle East Branch, at the exhibition.

The company aims to continue providing high-quality hot water solutions to the region while protecting the environment.

Ariston is synonymous with comfort, energy efficiency and respect for the environment all over the world. “This is thanks to our high-efficiency products, plants that are in compliance with the most advanced production standards, and excellent pre- and after-sales customer support services,” says the spokesman.

Ariston Thermo has a long and well-established presence in Europe and emerging countries. It has 59 operating companies and eight representative offices in 36 countries, 22 production sites in 13 countries, and 19 centres of competences and R&D in 12 countries.

In the Middle East, it has branches in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) and Dubai, UAE, a plant in Bahrain and a sales team covering the other countries of the region. The Bahrain plant is located over a 7,000-sq-m area at Bahrain International Investment Park (BIIP) in Hidd.
