Abanos to fit out Address Residences

UAE-based interior fit-out and joinery firm Abanos has been appointed to carry out the luxury fit-outs of the homes at the five-star Address Residences by Emaar located in Downtown, Dubai.

The project situated in the Opera District is an exclusive serviced apartment development that sets new standards in luxury and service.

The architecture of the project is in line with the elegance associated with the chain of residences, requiring bespoke interior fit-out work.

Abanos’ scope of work includes the joinery and fit-out of the serviced apartments and public areas for the Address Residences Dubai Opera.

On the big win, CEO Kamal Farah says: “Our strategic partnership with Emaar continues to strengthen with the commission of yet another project, the Address Residences Dubai Opera. We are thrilled to have won this milestone contract and to further demonstrate our expertise in bespoke fit-out and joinery work, bringing their vision to life.”

Abanos has previously worked on the Palace Downtown hotel by Emaar.

The Address Residences Dubai Opera comprises two high-rise towers with serviced apartments, one of which has been commissioned to Abanos.

The project consists of 809 apartments that includes an assortment of premium one-, two- and three- bedroom units along with sky penthouses consisting of four and five bedrooms.

The development provides residents with luxurious amenities such as lounges, a swimming pool, a gym, a kids’ club and an expansive landscaped terrace.

Abanos says it utilises BIM (building information modelling) capabilities to finalise the co-ordination with all trades and solve complicated interfaces, extracting complete shopdrawings from the 3D models.

Abanos operates a 21,000-sq-m facility in Dubai Investment Park with a state-of-the-art manufacturing set-up of 15,000 sq m and warehousing facilities of 9,000 sq m. Investing in modern machinery, the company has the capacity to handle various large projects simultaneously and is capable of meeting international standards of quality and lead times.

Other key projects include Dubai Design District (D3), Etihad Museum, At.Mosphere Restaurant at the Burj Khalifa and Old Souk, says Farah.

Abanos has also been recently awarded the contract for the Dubai Expo Village project, which is another milestone project for the company.
