Reynaers aims to shine at doors, facades event

01 July 2019

Reynaers Middle East (RME) is preparing to take part in the region’s only dedicated event for windows, doors and facades taking place from September 24 to 26 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, in Dubai, UAE.

The Windows, Doors and Facades Event 2019 is the region’s ultimate facades event featuring the top players in the market.

RME – the regional office of European aluminium solutions provider Reynaers Aluminium – is gearing up to tap the region’s growing aluminium systems market through this dedicated event and continues to utilise this platform to its maximum potential by exhibiting some of its latest products and services.

Since the event’s launch in 2016, Reynaers Aluminium has participated in 2016 and 2017 where its latest series of doors and windows MasterLine 8 was introduced, says Ali Khalaf, managing director of the Bahrain-headquartered Reynaers Middle East.

“Every year, we strive to bring something unique and useful to our clients, and that will be the case this year as well. We are constantly innovating at Reynaers Aluminium to maintain both our quality and service levels,” says Khalaf.

Additionally, he says, Reynaers is bringing the latest techniques available in the market to help customers in making informed decisions about the choice of aluminium systems for their projects and buildings. This is best achieved by educating the customer about the features and performance of each system to fulfil their specific needs.

“Today’s customer is both looks conscious as well as technically savvy. So we need to create the perfect balance for them when proposing a specific system to match their requirements. Due to the advancements in technology and digitalisation, this is much more achievable now, for example, through virtual reality, which will play a key role in the buying cycle of customers,” explains Khalaf.

Reynaers’ stand this year will feature several modes of digital engagement for clients where they can experience products mainly through the HTC Vive Virtual Reality system.

Specific building information models (BIM) will be connected to the system, which will allow users to move in a 3D space and use motion-tracked handheld controllers to interact with the environment, thus allowing them to experience the specific system in depth.

Additionally, the ‘World of Reynaers’ will feature Reynaers products displayed in a 3D model viewed on touch screens, allowing users to see different products with different frames and colours.

Shedding light on the product line-up at the event, Khalaf says: “In 2016, we had launched the MasterLine 8 series, which was very well received by the Middle East market. This year, we will introduce some of its new variants, which include the MasterLine 8 pivot and panel door series.”

The new MasterLine 8 pivot doors for residential use, Khalaf says, is a new and state-of-the-art solution suited for use as entrance doors for residential homes.

“The new pivot doors meet modern requirements for these purposes – high insulation, burglar-proof rating of RC2, best air-tightness Class 4, and water-tightness Class 4A (150Pa). In addition, the doors offer the freedom to express personal design and the possibility to integrate a door closer, keyless access, etcetera,” says Khalaf.

He adds the new MasterLine 8 panel doors are an ideal solution for entrance doors; they are modern, flexible and highly price competitive.

And although Reynaers provides the base profiles and production instructions, it gives the fabricators the freedom to source their own panels for maximum design freedom.

Khalaf says the features of these specific panel doors include flush face on the interior and exterior, spy windows with and without beads, hardly any visible gaskets and the possibility of hidden hinges.

Highlighting the importance of the event, Aws Salih, sales director of Reynaers Middle East, says: “We will invite all our customers not just from the UAE but the entire Middle East to the region’s most sought-after event in this industry, which will serve as a seamless platform to showcase the company’s product line and service values.”

Given the significance of the trade fair, Andreas Wilsdorf, Reynaers Aluminium’s vice-president CSO (chief sales officer), export sales, based at the company’s head office in Duffel, Belgium, will also be present at the event to address any queries from the international perspective of the business.
