Aluminium systems provider Reynaers Middle East is participating in a major conference in Jordan that will see the country’s leading engineers and consultants get together to exchange best practices for innovative and sustainable solutions in the field of engineering.
The Second Balqa’a International Engineering Conference (BIEC 2019), organised by the Jordan Engineers Association (JEA), is being held under the theme, ‘Sustainability, Entrepreneurship, Innovation’, from December 3 to 5 at the Kempiniski Hotel, Dead Sea, Jordan.
Reynaers’ participation in this event marks an important milestone for the company, which has reinforced its presence in the Jordan market with a full-fledged set-up including a registered office and a local team comprising sales and technical personnel catering to the market needs.
The conference provides an opportunity for engineers, academics and researchers to meet and exchange knowledge in various aspects of engineering. The conference also includes presentations of authentic researches in addition to holding a specialised exhibition.
Reynaers’ architect advisory manager Arch Khaled Nukho will present on the topic, ‘Sustainable Design for Aluminium Facades’, where he will cover the role of aluminium facades in protecting the environment while increasing the individual comfort in regard to acoustics, room climate and reduced expenses for maintenance.
“Jordan is predominately a villa market for us where we have supplied high-grade aluminium systems to a number of luxury home owners. However, in recent times, we have witnessed an increase in commercial projects as well,” explained Ali Khalaf, managing director of Reynaers Middle East.
He added that Reynaers has, over the years, gained a strong foothold in the country as the preferred aluminium systems supplier, and it’s looking to build on this premise to gain further market share through enhanced customer service represented through timely proposal submissions and full technical support through its newly set-up local office.
“The BIEC will serve as an ideal platform to reach out to engineers and consultants and reinforce the Reynaers brand,” Khalaf said.
Although the company has been supplying in Jordan since its inception in the Middle East in 2004, and has executed notable projects like the Holiday Inn Dead Sea Resort, Germany University and Mercedes showroom – the potential in the region has all the more grown and this has seen Reynaers acquiring prestigious projects like Queen Rania Teacher Academy, Queen Alia Military Hospital, Al Bashir Hospital and Al Basha Mall.
