AirMap, the leading digital airspace and automation company serving the drone market, has announced the launch of JobSight, an end-to-end drone operations and data automation platform that can give construction professionals with advanced insights into projects in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
The platform leverages industry-leading flight automation technology, enabling construction companies to integrate drones into their daily operations. Automated services, including job scheduling, route planning, automated asset capture, and airspace compliance, are integrated into the application.
Nicolas Lavialle, AirMap’s Director of EMEA Enterprise Sales, says: “By harnessing automation and integrating drones into their day-to-day operations, construction firms can gain critical and actionable site intelligence, saving time and money. We are proud to be officially making JobSight available to construction businesses across Europe, Africa and the Middle East – particularly right now, when drones can play an important role in remotely surveying sites, documenting project progress, and performing contactless safety inspections. Not only does this cut down on costs and time, but reduces the amount of physical interaction that construction employees need to have with each other and equipment.”
Drone technology is offering the construction sector a solution to overcome new social distancing rules being enforced on construction sites across the globe, he says.
Drones are the future of remote site operations and contactless inspections and can only be enabled by adopting the right platforms to manage them, according to AirMap.
With JobSight, construction companies can monitor progress, improve safety, reduce rework, and increase efficiency across their entire project life cycle. The platform is pre-integrated with affordable, off-the-shelf drone hardware and requires minimal training for fast deployment
JobSight is also integrated with leading construction management software Procore, making it easy for construction professionals to view drone capture in the context of their projects and facilitate visual communication across teams.
According to AirMap, several construction firms in the US are already benefiting from utilising JobSight in their day-to-day operations, including Andres Construction Services, Depcom Power, HITT Contracting and Wood Partners.
AirMap has a new reseller in the Middle East region called Falcon Eye Drone (FEDs), which will make JobSight available in the region.
AirMap connects airspace authorities, enterprise operators, and industry developers with automation software solutions for scaling safe and efficient drone operations in low-altitude airspace. AirMap’s unmanned traffic management (UTM) and U-space products are deployed in the Czech Republic, Japan, Singapore, Switzerland, the US, and are available in more than 30 countries. The company serves a global community of over 250,000 users and 2,700 registered developers.
In 2019, AirMap acquired Hangar Technology, an enterprise drone dataflow platform, to further accelerate enterprise drone adoption through digital automation. The company is committed to advancing drone enablement through global research initiatives.
